A Functional Capacity Evaluation is an objective tool in determining an individuals' safe physical capabilities.
Whole Body FCE
This evaluation will be used as determined by the diagnosis of the patient/client with an injury to the low back and/or lower extremities and is designed with functional and dynamic activities to measure lower extremity capabilities.
Upper Extremity Whole Body FCE
This evaluation will be used as determined by the diagnosis of the patient/client with an injury to the neck and/or upper extremities and is designed with functional activities to measure upper extremity capabilities.
Two-Day FCE
This evaluation will be conducted as per request to compare the physical capabilities of the patient/client on two consecutive days. The Two-Day FCE is used primarily for individuals who have residual pain issues, usually with diagnoses of neuropathy or radiculopathy.
Job Specific FCE
We will modify the FCE (Whole Body/ Upper Extremity) to the job description/analysis provided by the employer and then will compare the physical job requirements to the actual demand levels of the individual ascertained from the FCE.
